Connect computers, servers, and other devices to your network with the 12-Port EdgeRouter 12 Advanced Network Router from Ubiquiti. Capable of a Layer 3 forwarding rate up to 3.4 million pps and a line rate up to 6.8 Gb/s, the rack-mountable EdgeRouter 12 comes equipped with 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, two SFP ports, and an RJ45 serial management port. The switch also has a PoE input port and a PoE passthrough port.

Powered by a quad-core 1 GHz MIPS64 CPU and 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, the fanless switch can be managed and configured via an integrated command-line interface or with the Ubiquity Network Management System software app.

Manage Your Network
Set up multiple DHCP servers to assign IP ranges in different subnets on the different interfaces. Control dynamic and static IP addressing for your network devices. Track network activity and devices from tools such as Ping, Trace, Discover, Packet Capture, and Log Monitor.
Secure Your Network
Organize the firewall rules you apply in the order you specify. Apply firewall policies to groups filtered by IP address, network address, or port number. The EdgeRouter changes packet addressing based on your customized source and destination NAT rules.
Direct Traffic Flow
Each port functions as an independent interface. You can also configure Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) interfaces for network segmentation. Configure static routes and dynamic routing protocols to effectively manage the routes used by the EdgeRouter.
Intuitive User Interface
The EdgeRouter provides a graphical user interface designed for setup and control. Configure the routing, security, and management features required to efficiently run your network. For advanced network professionals, an integrated command-line interface is available for quick and direct access using familiar commands. The Ubiquiti Network Management System app makes it possible to manage the EdgeRouter remotely from your mobile device.
EdgeOS
An operating system that helps manage your EdgeRouter and network, EdgeOS boasts a variety of administrative and configuration features, including VLAN interfaces for network segmentation, static routes and support of routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, BGP, and MPLS), firewall policies and NAT rules, application identification with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), DHCP services, Quality of Service (QoS), network administration and monitoring tools, administrator and operator accounts, and IPv6 support.
Command-Line Configuration
The command-line interface provides configuration and monitoring of all advanced features, as well as direct access to standard Linux tools and shell commands. The CLI can be accessed through the serial console port, SSH, Telnet, or the graphical user interface.
Ubiquiti Network Management System
The EdgeRouter 12 is supported and managed by the Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS), a comprehensive management controller featuring a graphical user interface. You can use a single control plane to manage registered EdgeMAX devices across multiple networks and sites.
Mobile App
The UNMS app allows you to manage the EdgeRouter using your mobile device. The app can be downloaded from the iOS App Store or Google Play for Android. Once the UNMS app is installed on your mobile device, connect to a wireless network that has access to the EdgeRouter, discover the EdgeRouter, and log into its configuration interface. You can display and configure various settings, such as interface information, throughput per port, system settings, and more.
